Does waxing hurt?
Everyone experiences waxing differently, but I use premium professional waxes and gentle techniques to make your treatment as comfortable as possible.
Many clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the experience is.
Is intimate waxing suitable for first-time clients?
Absolutely. Whether it’s your first wax or you’re a regular client, I’ll explain everything, work at your pace and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your appointment.
How long should my hair be?
For best results, your hair should be approximately 5-10 mm long, about the length of a grain of rice.
If you’re unsure, feel free to get in touch before booking.
How often should I book a wax?
For the best results, most clients book every 4-6 weeks. Regular waxing helps encourage softer, finer hair regrowth over time.
I’m feeling embarrassed, will it be awkward?
Not at all. Many clients feel nervous before their first appointment, and that’s completely normal.
My priority is to make you feel relaxed, comfortable and never judged.

The Wax Retreat is a private garden cabin located in Goldhanger, Maldon.
Free private driveway parking is available.
On arrival, please use the side gate on the driveway to access the cabin.
